Invitation for HUSKROUA/1901/8.1/0088 DIKEINSPECT received funding from the European Union „Complex flood-control strategy on the Upper-Tisza catchment area” named project II. Transboundary expert group meeting.

On the 04th of May, 2023, the representatives of the partners (from Hungary – Slovakia – Romania – Ukraine) within the "Complex flood-control strategy on the Upper-Tisza catchment area (DIKEINSPECT)" project met in Miskolc to discuss the status of the activities that each organization also implements them for the analysis of the adjustments that are required under the conditions of the current context (the war in Ukraine) in which it takes place.

The DC geoelectrical exploration method is based on the difference in resistivity of geological mediums (substrates). The unique value of the specific electrical resistivity is determined primarily by the bound or free water content, and secondarily by the mineral composition and crystal structure.

In the framework of the DIKEINSPECT project, Geogold Kárpátia Kft., a subcontractor of the University of Miskolc, carried out seismic and ERT measurements on the Upper Tisza dike sections in the Upper Tisza region between January and March 2022, in agreement with the Upper Tisza Water Directorate.

1st September 2021: the Project held its Kick-off meeting in the City Hotel’s separate room.
